Necromunda was founded approximately 15,000 years ago as a mining and manufacturing colony. Over the millennia that have passed, the mountains have been reduced to rubble for the ore they contained and the seas have been transformed into oceans of chemical sludge.

Across the plains, massive structures of the familiar city pierce the sky. In the lower levels of these cities, billions of beings live, work, fight, and die without ever seeing the light of day.
