The Imperial Guard is the largest military force in the Imperium of Mankind and thus serves as the primary fighting force of the Imperium and first line of defense against enemies multiples which threaten the existence of the human race at the end of the 41st Millennium . It is composed of countless billions of men and women from hundreds of thousands of different regiments, supported by a vast array of light and heavy armored vehicles that provide the Guard's main offensive punch.
